An exploratory route for adventure loving travellers. Traversing three states, two tiger reserves(bandipur and mudumalai) it changes the scenic moods of the journey. 43 hairpin bends between Mulli to Manjur is the most exiting part of the journey, reviving a petrol engine uphill (~500 to ~2300mtrs above sea level) never felt so tiresome as the scenic outskirts makes as break all the way up for photography.
From manjur onwards the drive is so refreshing as it witnessed the unseen faces of Ooty the road proceded from one hill to another with majestic views of tea estates all around. As it proceeds to gundalpet the drive become compensating for the time lost in hairpins. This route leads to the grandeur gardens of sunflower and Chrysanthemum flowers, as it passes through gopalaswami hills, atop which spots himavad gopalaswami betta. Enchanting view of sunflower fields from the top can hypnotize you in a while. The journey makes you experience the "beauty of hills and the beasts from the forests".
